Have you ever been to Broadway and wondered how to get into the musical theatre business yourself? Or are you already a professional there and you just like to know more about it? You’re at the right point!
The blogs below are all based on musical theatre and how they come into existence. So it will be about the production: from auditions to rehearsals and creating a brand new musical. Other aspects may come by as well if I receive questions or requests for them.
Every blog here I wrote from experience and (academic) research. I do adequate research before writing anything, so you know what you read is true.
Keep in mind however that musical theatre is not the same all over the world. For instance, an executive producer in continental Europa is called a general manager on Broadway. Each country has its own methods and traditions. While I try to involve the differences, it’s impossible to account for all of them. My main focus will be on the UK, USA and a bit of the Netherlands.
